We started out in Ketchum Cove targeting chunk rock banks and secondary points. After we fished here, we went into Scottys Cove and caught most of our fish.
Fishing Notes

We started off in Ketchum Cove first thing in the morning. We threw a topwater frog in the flooded bushes but never got a bite. Once it got a little later, we started fishing chunk rock banks and secondary points with a black and blue 6th Sense squarebill crankbait, a shaky head, and a brown jig. We caught 4 keepers in here and all of the fish came off of the 6th Sense squarebill.

Once we fished Ketchum Cove, we went into Scottys Cove. This is where we caught most of our fish today. We caught 12 fish in here with the biggest being a 2.8lber. We ran the same pattern targeting chunk rock banks and secondary points. We caught a few on a shaky head and a few on the jig but by far, our best bite was on the squarebill.

After we caught several small fish, we went looking for some bigger ones. We drug the jig around deep points and fished a 6XD crankbait but never got a bite doing this. We also did not see a lot of shad in the area.

The water temperatures remained consistantly at 68 degrees today. Scottys Cove had good visibility to it with 2+ feet of visibility but Ketchum Cove had a little color to it. Still, not bad but worse than what it normally is.
