We fished brush piles in Honey Creek from 15-20 feet deep. |
Fishing Notes |
---|
I fished Honey Creek all day today. The fish were stacked thick in brush from 15-20 feet deep. All of our fish today were caught on minnows. We caught a ton of fish and pulled out some good ones. We had to go to several different brush piles to get our limit but we caught a ton of fish. After the trip was over, I went out and scouted for the next trip. I looked at brush piles and I found suspended crappie under almost every dock in Honey Creek. It is unreal the amount of crappie in Grand Lake. If you are looking to catch a mess of fish and cant find or dont have access to a boat to fish brush piles, fish the docks. They are loaded and it wont take long at all to find them. |
