Fishing Notes |
---|
We caught some monster fish with the biggest being around 15.5 inches. We are fishing brush piles 6ft-15 ft deep swinging minnows and jigs over the brush piles. I primarily am finding fish next to creek channel, river channel swings and points from Patricia Island to Sailboat Bridge. The best way I have found to catch these crappie is to constantly keep your bait moving. The fish don’t react to jigging motion like they do with the bait just swinging with a steady slow, slow retrieve. |
