Fishing Notes |
---|
Well, I said I was going to run new water today but I didnt. I fished in Duck Creek, Drowning Creek, Chigger Cove, and Ketchum. We caught 2 short fish but nothing worth writing home about. We threw everything under the sun at them today but couldnt get anything going. With the Redcrest Tournament starting soon, I started following some of the pros around and watching them. All of them were throwing jerkbaits and crankbaits on banks that were getting pounded by the wind. The water temperatures did go up to 51 degrees today but I still was not seeing any bait to speak of in the coves or where they have been. A few more days of warm weather and they will start setting back up on the secondary points where they have been. I went into Horse Creek and saw a lot of the pros fishing around Blackberry and Snake Island. |
