| Just watching the tournament fishermen I started using shad caught -- put on at the dock behind my boat, No weight just the shad cast out and let it sink----caught a cat about 15 #---used the same beat up bait -cast back and caught the 30+ blue cat----what a fight-took about 30 min to get it in--my boat is covered up so no net-had to use my hand---but was some fun---and I am no catfisherman but man that thing was strong---only had 15#mono on the reel-I gave the fish to my neighbor. |
